Luther Speight & Company (LSC) Expands Remote Auditing

LSC has implemented Remote Auditing to assist clients during the pandemic. LSC implemented a paperless audit process in prior years. This coincided with our peer review that resulted in a Pass Rating with No Findings.The next evolution in our audit practice is to offer Remote Audits. We are all impacted by the pandemic. Remote audits promote social distancing by allowing clients to lessen the personal contact impacts of onsite audits. Our Atlanta office recently completed a Remote Audit of Alabama University A&M National Alumni Association. 

Luther Speight & Company’s Airport Finance Team

The City of New Orleans opened the newly constructed $1.1 billion airport terminal during 2019. Our firm served as financial project managers for the 4-year construction period. We continue to assist the airport to coordinate the financial closeout of the project.

Luther Speight & Company Opens Atlanta Office

LSC opened a new full-service office in Atlanta, GA during 2020. Our firm’s owner, Luther Speight, CPA is a Clark Atlanta University alumnus and provides executive oversight to our Atlanta practice. The LSC Atlanta Team welcomes its newest audit client, A&M University Alumni Association.

ACLU Southern Collective Selects LSC as Auditors  

LSC was selected during 2022 as independent auditors for the ACLU Southern Collective.   

The Collective is comprised of 12 autonomous ACLU statewide affiliate chapters.  

LSC has begun work in six states within the southern region.
