Luther Speight & Company CPAs is a full-service Certified Public Accounting and Consulting firm providing consulting, auditing, and small business services to a wide variety of clients in both the private and public sectors. Our offices are located in New Orleans, Atlanta and Memphis.

Our firm was founded in 1987 with one employee and since that time has continued to grow by consistently providing innovative business solutions and services to governmental, nonprofit and commercial entities throughout the south.

The firm’s 35-year history includes these milestones;

• Founded 1987
• Successful SBA 8(a) Graduate Firm
• Recognized by the FDIC as the Agency’s 6^th largest minority-owned contractor in 2001
• Opened 2^nd full-service office in Memphis, TN
• Opened 3^rd full-service office in Atlanta, GA
• Provided vital project management and staffing services in the aftermaths of Hurricane Katrina, Harvey and the Baton Rouge Great Flood event
• Subcontractor to numerous international firms including; AECOM, WSP, Montgomery Watson, Deloitte, KPMG, Price Waterhouse
• Selected as independent auditors for the Orleans Parish School Board

This commitment is evidenced by the successful completion of our most recent Independent Peer Review. Our report reflects a “Pass Rating” with no findings. This is the highest rating available by the American Institute of CPA’s. Our most recent peer review report is consistent each of our prior reports since the program’s inception.

We hold a federal designation as a disadvantaged business enterprise and is also certified as such by the City of New Orleans, City of Atlanta, State of Louisiana, State of Georgia, New Orleans Aviation Board, Sewer & Water Board and other jurisdictions.
