Luther Speight & Company is a full-service Certified Public Accounting and Management Consulting firm providing consulting, auditing, accounting, information technology, tax and small business services to a wide variety of clients in both the private and public sectors. Our offices are located in New Orleans, Atlanta and Memphis, Tennessee.
Our firm was founded January 1, 1987 with one employee. Luther C. Speight & Company has grown from one employee to its current staffing of twenty (20) professional and support staff. The professional staff is led by seasoned professionals with combined financial and business consulting experience of over one-hundred (100) years.

In accordance with our firm’s “COMMITMENT TO QUALITY SERVICE,” we have adopted a set of quality control policies and procedures to assure our clients consistent results that meet the highest standards of our profession. These standards require our staff to participate in continuing education to keep pace with the changing laws, regulations and trends affecting our profession.
This commitment has led us to the successful completion of our most recent independent Quality Review, as required by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Our Quality Review was conducted by an Independent CPA firm and involved an extensive review of the work performed by our firm. The result of this review was the issuance of an “unqualified opinion” with no findings or comments, which is the most favorable result possible. This nationally recognized superior rating is our third consecutive designation.
